Challenge: read all about it!

We are going to challenge you to read all about it indeed this week - because in addition to our challenge we have a blog hop going on!!

We are helping kick off STAMPtember ™ festivities with prizes, inspiration, and more!

Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. Over the past 10 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a “STAMPtember” ™ event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complementing ANYTHING! From stamping dates on bank documents and postage parcels in the early 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, scrapbooking, mixed media and many forms of altering and expressing art.

This week here at the Stamp and Show blog our challenge is to "read all about it" - here you can see how our team interpreted that challenge:

Read All About it: Do you love text patterned stamps and papers? Have a book that you’ve been meaning to alter? Want to cover a new journal front or use a book as inspiration for your next project? Please do share! This week, we’re all about words. Whether it’s from actual book pages or just inspired by, projects with a newsprint accent or that are classic literature inspired - we can’t wait to see what you’re up to this week.

Those are just some sneak peeks at this week's Design Team Projects. To see the full projects, check out the team's blogs! Oh yes, and by the way you'll want to be sure and leave comments along the way because everyone is giving away a $25 gift certificate [so be sure to leave comments!] to www.simonsaysstamp.com too!!

This happens to be the the final stop of the blog hop - so if you're just joining in you can go back and start at the beginning at the Simon Says Stamp blog and travel along the way seeing new projects and getting chances to win prizes.

But wait, there's more!! You see here on the Simon Says Stamp and Show blog you know that we have a weekly challenge and give-away each week. Well guess what? In honor of the blog hop we're doing a HUGE drawing for a $100 gift certificate from Simon Says Stamp this week!!!

How great is that?

To be entered, you just need to create something for the "Read all about it" challenge. It can be any kind of project that is inspired by the challenge, OR a project that features stamping (since this is Stamptember!!). Once done, post it with a link back here, and then add it to our inlinkz list below.

This challenge closes at 11:59pm EST on Sunday September 9th. You can see our full rules in the side-bar - we look forward to seeing what you come up with - happy crafting!
